About Me:  Susan M. Murphy 

Starting out with a 35 mm Minolta back in the early 1980’s, I began photographing my own children.  By The 1990’s,  I was capturing the look and feel of children as potential for modeling and acting careers.  I moved on to become a Photojournalist specializing in sports, events and lifestyle.  My focus was on wedding photography during this time as well. 

I love getting to know my clients and help them create photographs that they will cherish for years to come. My greatest ambition is to capture those moments and preserve them forever. 

Creating art with color, light and, subject is my passion.  Clients can count on a array of work personalized to their predilection and edited in my style. 

I love working with rich colors, dramatic light, interesting angles, and spontaneity in posing.  Experimenting with interesting props and locations to fit the theme is a welcome challenge.  

I have helped many models build their portfolio as a, TF or, trade for which means neither model nor myself gets paid....we simply each end up with new images for our portfolios.

 Having only a small home studio, I am considered a Location Photographer.  I am willing to travel up to 100 miles from my location for selected shoots.  I will occasionally do a TF (trade) shoot only if the theme or, look of the model will be an enhancement to my port.

I enjoy adding an artful technique to my work in Photo Manipulation
